Of all types of fossil fuel, coal is the largest source of carbon dioxide, impacting both air quality and human health.
Since the time of the so-called Industrial Revolution, the "cost" of using coal has been the lives of many people! Unfortunately, the "reliance" on coal resources is so "habitual and deep-seated" that, even knowing its harmfulness, we continue to use it quite extensively.
By modelling situations on a computer where coal would no longer be used in certain regions, it has become clear that its continued use would be a huge mistake, negatively affecting the environment, human health, and the economy!
