Rapid urbanisation and climate change are two of the greatest challenges our society has ever faced. Urban forests are an extremely effective nature-based solution for greener, healthier and more sustainable cities. The implementation of urban forestry solutions still faces many obstacles. Uforest – a three-year project co-funded by the European Union, which aims to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in this field.
By bringing together universities, businesses and public authorities, the project provides cross-sectoral cooperation to improve urban forestry.
