Everyone interested in current issues within the forestry sector is invited to participate in the online Forestry Industry Conference organised by the Ministry of Agriculture (ZM) and the Forest Advisory Services Centre of the Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Centre (LLKC MKPC), which will take place on 26 November at 10.00. Participation in the conference is free of charge, and anyone interested will be able to join the online proceedings.

This year, the main themes of the conference will be the available and forthcoming European Union support for forestry, the process of forest inventory in private forests, the latest results of forest habitat mapping, and the spread of the European spruce bark beetle along with the necessary preventive measures.
