The event will bring together EU policymakers, NGOs, companies, voluntary sustainability standard overseers, representatives of producer countries, EU competent authorities, forestry sector representatives, and journalists to network, discuss, and collectively envision a world where we clearly and accurately know where every piece of wood comes from. We will focus on the question of how the EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) and the requirement to determine the geographical location of wood origin can be significant in the timber industry, considering environmental, economic, and social dimensions both in Europe and globally.
