Researchers at Fraunhofer , in collaboration with specialists from other technical sectors, have created a device for weeding. The mobile robot (or robotic system) is guided by optical sensors, weeding without the use of chemical substances. As is well known, weeds in tree nurseries, orchards, and areas maintained by vegetable growers often cause both work and concern. Especially when we know that during the seed germination period, the seedlings of crops and weeds compete with each other.
