A farm in Kenya that supplies avocados to Tesco, Sainsbury's and Lidl stores is being sued over serious human rights violations.

Farm supervisors have been accused of at least 79 incidents of violence against local people who worked on the farm or lived in the vicinity. The allegations include the death of a 28-year-old man (suspected of allegedly stealing avocados), the rape of ten women, and attacks on villagers from a nearby community who used paths that crossed the farm, which triggered a violent reaction from the supervisors.
