In many studies conducted at the institute, mapping materials covering all of Latvia and the Baltic states have been and are being developed using researchers' findings and bespoke algorithms. Therefore, to make this information accessible to a wider audience of researchers, forest and landowners, and forest managers for conducting new studies, planning daily operations, and assessing forestry and other risks, the institute has found a way to start publishing these data for free access.

The first map services to be published are:

• Wind damage threat classification map for all of Latvia.
• Depth-to-water (DTW) map.
