The LVM Council has reviewed and supports the plan prepared by the company’s management board to increase the production of wood chips. As part of this, it is planned to produce up to 30% more wood chips, providing support during the upcoming heating season.”
“This summer will be a busy one for “Latvijas valsts meži”. We have already begun preparing additional volumes of energy wood. The sales process and the signing of contracts are scheduled for July and August, so that deliveries of wood chips can begin from September according to the schedule agreed with buyers. Any heat energy production company will be able to apply,” explains LVM Management Board member Edvīns Zakovics.
