Public voting has opened for the first European timber architecture award, the “WoodPoP Dara Award 2026”
Among the 59 outstanding projects from 22 European countries is the administrative and utility complex at the “Zābaki” tree nursery, owned by Latvijas Finieris.
The “Zābaki” tree nursery (designed by https://www.facebook.com/markarhitekti) is an outstanding example of how timber as a building material can create industrial space that is not only functional and modern, but also environmentally and human-friendly.
