Forestry experts and forest owners have addressed a letter to the State President, the Prime Minister and other high-ranking officials, in which they call for a decision on what percentage of forest area we can allocate to nature conservation and how much to economic activity.

Seven experienced and authoritative forestry experts and forest owners point out in the letter: “Before making a decision to restrict economic activity, it is necessary to assess what the consequences will be and what losses it will cause. As the areas where economic activity is prohibited or restricted increase, the number of jobs and revenue for the state budget are reduced.
