What will we have to give up to save our planet?

I allow that there are various solutions, but my vision, of course, is about the wider use of wood. I will admit right away – to use wood more widely for daily needs, trees must be felled, planted, and felled again. We will, of course, take from nature once more, but we have nowhere else to take from, and unlike, for example, pumping oil, the regeneration of trees is incomparably faster and more efficient, because a young tree not only grows into new timber but also produces the oxygen we so desperately need as it grows.

We often look at wood products in very primitive categories – table, chair, log cabin – but the truth is that wood is already an inseparable part of our lives, even if we are not aware of it, and in such a situation, a country whose majority is covered by forests (53%) has a duty to follow scientific trends and use its own resource both for increasing our own prosperity and for saving the world.
