Still looking! Still wanting to find out!

10 months ago, zemeunvalsts.lv published an investigative article about a Nature Conservation Agency employee in the forests of Kurzeme. It seems that the institution, caught up in the emotional heat of searching for data and criticising Latvian taxpayers in various ways, neither knows nor wishes to know what its employees are doing and why they are boasting about money earned by others.

Full of hope we repeat this request, believing that a representative of a Latvian state institution should be formidable not only in the forest, but also in a serious conversation about their attitude towards those whose work earns them their own living! Step forward if you are for real!

Zemeunvalsts.lv is looking for the person who, on 1 August 2019 at approximately 12:00, was at “Vecdankumi” in the Kandava region (the property is located in the Abava Valley Nature Park) and, without introducing themselves or explaining the reason for their arrival, began a conversation with the owner.

Special features of the person being sought:

- Dressed in a Nature Conservation Agency (DAP) uniform with the appropriate uniform insignia

- Using a jeep-like vehicle (off-road vehicle)

- Aged 35-40, dark-haired, of medium height, with a refined or “dandyish” appearance

- Speaks Latvian well

- Well-versed in DAP and state finances, as he pointed out to the owner that Latvian citizens have no business worrying about the cost of state employees' uniforms and that "in general, the DAP is a 'wealthy institution'"

- Stated that the owner had no business being on his own property

- Suggested that the owner should gift (give away) his property to the Nature Conservation Agency

- While in the forest, forgot his own name and surname

- The person being sought was accompanied by a passenger who did not participate in the conversation

- We assume that the individual being sought owns massive forest or land holdings which are managed by others, otherwise he would not have asked what an owner is doing on his own property

If anyone knows which Latvian state official was in the Kandava region on that day and at that time, and wandered onto the specific property, please let us know – info@zemeunvalsts.lv!

Please report if, on that day, the Nature Conservation Agency rented out a uniform to someone and forgot to explain the principles of its use! We would also like to get to know the renter!

Please report if someone found a uniform and simply decided to wear it on that day in order to look good and respectable! We would be happy to have a word with Him, as he wishes to look good and presentable, knows everything, is deeply competent and, perhaps, holds a very high position in reality or in his own mind!
