In an interview published on Sunday, Polish Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński accused France and Germany of having too close a relationship with Russia and condemned Germany's conduct towards Russia before the war in Ukraine. J. Kaczyński also announced that Poland is open to hosting US nuclear weapons on its territory, but is awaiting an initiative from Washington on the matter. "Germany, like France, has a clear bias in favour of Moscow," J. Kaczyński noted in an interview with the German newspaper "Die Welt".
"For years, the German government did not want to see what Russia was doing under the leadership of [President Vladimir] Putin, and today we see the result," J. Kaczyński stated. "Poland is not satisfied with Germany's role in Europe," he admitted. Jarosław Kaczyński accuses Berlin of wishing to repeat the policy of the 19th-century German Empire's Chancellor Otto von Bismarck - "German dominance, but side-by-side with Russia".
