From 11 July 2022, the State Forest Service is changing visiting hours at its forest districts; in the future, in-person services will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Visiting hours have also been set for the Director General, chief foresters, the service’s central administration, and specialists at the forest district offices.
State Forest Service services are available at 29 forest district offices throughout Latvia. Individuals or legal entities may submit applications at any of the forest district offices, regardless of their declared residence, registered address, or the location of their property.
From 11 July, the State Forest Service’s forest district visiting hours will change. In the future, in-person services will be available:
on Tuesdays from 09.00–12.30; 13.00–17.00;
on Thursdays from 09.00–12.30; 13.00–18.00;
on Fridays from 09.00–12.30; 13.00–16.00.
You may book a specific appointment time in advance by calling the relevant forest district office. The State Forest Service encourages clients to make use of the opportunity to receive services remotely.
