By digitalising, becoming smarter and more efficient, companies will be able to pay higher wages. At the same time, keeping up with the rapid growth in remuneration is currently one of the most complex tasks for businesses, as they must maintain their competitiveness, emphasises Uldis Biķis, Chairman of the Council of a/s "Latvijas Finieris".

Since Latvia's accession to the European Union, "Latvijas Finieris" has invested approximately 430 million euros in development, with support from EU funds amounting to 8 million euros. That is not a large amount, yet the support is important at a specific moment to provide the courage to make specific decisions and to encourage investment.
