A cabin-like holiday home and a sauna on wheels are among the four timber architecture projects recognised as winners of the 2023 Thermory Design Awards.

At the event, hosted annually by building materials supplier Thermory, projects including a secondary school and a hotel also received awards. The annual awards ceremony honoured the best projects globally that have been created using Thermory thermally modified wood products.

“The Thermory Design Awards is an annual event showcasing incredible architecture and design projects created using Thermory products,” stated representatives of the brand in Estonia. “Its goal is to expand the possibilities of what can be achieved with Thermory products and to set new standards in timber architecture and sustainability.”

This year's winners across four categories—Best Private House, Best Public Building, Best Interior and Best Sauna—were selected from 75 projects across 19 different countries.
