The sector comprising agriculture, forestry and fisheries saw growth of 1.8% last year, which was particularly evident in the final quarter. Compared to the corresponding period in 2019, the sector grew by 6.7% overall. This can largely be explained by another record grain harvest, and the global demand for timber should also have provided a positive contribution.
Meanwhile, construction grew by 2.6% last year.
