UNESCO recently issued a somewhat surprising announcement, naming 10 major forest tracts included in the so-called World Heritage List that unfortunately emit more carbon than they absorb, and are therefore extremely dangerous to the climate of the entire planet. Furthermore, serious analysis indicates that this trend will not only continue in the coming years but will also grow, affecting an increasing number of forest tracts.

It is known that UNESCO forest sites are a huge carbon bank, formed by tracts that are twice the size of Germany, for example. And they contain an amount of carbon equivalent to all the oil reserves extracted in Kuwait.
