The main theme of the conference is the report prepared for the European Commission on the conservation status of habitats and species in Latvia for the 2013-2018 period. The Minister for Agriculture, Kaspars Gerhards, will participate in the conference, and the Ministry of Agriculture's Forest Department, the State Forest Service, and other institutions will provide up-to-date information on issues important to forest owners.
