The goal of the "Forest comes to Jelgava" event is to educate the public about the management of Latvia's forests and the wide spectrum of uses for harvested timber, attractively showcasing wood in its diverse applications by producing products with high added value. This year, special attention is being paid to the life of wood outside the forest, which is why all activities are thematically united by the motto "Wood is more!".
