Forestry
Regarding forestry, there are no specific or significant issues. The greatest impact will be on the timber trade, which will be subject to customs procedures and associated documentation, including the requirement for phytosanitary certificates. Regarding the trade of forest reproductive material, the impact will be minimal as there is currently no trade in forest reproductive material between Latvia and the UK. Furthermore, in case of need, it is possible to use the OECD scheme for the certification of forest reproductive material.
