The council of A/s "Latvijas valsts meži" (LVM) has approved the company's 2022 budget. It is planned that this year LVM's revenue will reach 471.6 million euros, and profit will be 163.1 million euros. Of the company's revenue, 96% or 454.7 million euros will be generated from the sale of timber – roundwood assortments, standing trees and wood chips. The total investment volume in 2022 is planned at 73.7 million euros, of which 40.2 million euros or 54% is intended for investment in the development of forest infrastructure, including the construction, design and construction supervision of forest roads, forest drainage systems and bridges.

The 2022 budget prepared by the company's management board envisages the highest turnover and profit in the company's history to date, yet there will be no shortage of various challenges. The changing business environment requires even closer cooperation with our buyers, suppliers and industry interest groups.
