The Rural Support Service has announced that applications for forestry support under the following sub-measures can be submitted from 1 October 2019 to 30 December 2019:

“Afforestation”, where applicants can apply for activities relating to afforestation and maintenance, as well as for the supplementary planting and tending of established forest stands. The total available funding is 760 thousand euros.

"Restoration of forest stands destroyed by forest fires and natural disasters", where support is granted for the restoration of forest areas where a forest fire or natural disaster—such as windthrow, windbreak, or damage caused by snow and ice—has been confirmed by the State Forest Service. The total available funding is 899 thousand euros.

The deadline for the implementation of projects submitted during this round is 1 September 2023.
