Scientists have prepared and published a map of underwater seaweed (https://kelpwatch.org/), which will be an excellent aid and tool for monitoring underwater territories. Seaweed is known to absorb CO2, and it is also known to be harmed by rising ocean temperatures. The map will be updated every couple of months. Scientists hope that with its help, it will be possible to choose the most appropriate method for preserving seaweed.
