The first year has passed with partners getting to know each other and preparing for this year's activities. We would like to inform you that we are beginning our active operations in the Vidzeme region with participation in Vidzeme Innovation Week from 24-28 February (http://innovation.vidzeme.lv/lv/).

We invite you to the first in-person meeting for decision-makers and stakeholders on 27 February in Vidzeme, Cēsis, at the Vidzeme Concert Hall "Cēsis", 12 Raunas Street, immediately following the Vidzeme Innovation Conference "Responsible Innovation" at 17:00 (invitation attached).

On 27 February, we will be sharing ideas and experience at the "Vidzeme Innovation Conference 'Responsible Innovation'" (http://innovation.vidzeme.lv/lv/pasakumi/2020-02-27/vidzemes-inovaciju-konference-atbildiga-inovacija.html), maintaining an "Eat the Bioeconomy" stand throughout the day, as well as presenting in the session (11:40-15:40) "Sustainable Resource Use. Principles of Circular Economy and Design", which aims to introduce session participants to the basic principles of the circular economy and design, as well as practical examples to promote the sustainable use of resources, incl. the smart use of logging residues. Representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises and public sector organisations working with the management, processing, and sale of natural resources are especially invited to participate.
