Researchers have created a list of priority river dams for removal. Support will also be available for the removal of river obstacles. The list includes a total of 70 sites – weirs, mill pond dams, and small hydroelectric power plants (HPP), whose owners might rather apply for the construction of fish passes, which, in turn, is significantly more expensive than removing the obstacle in the river.
