Eagle-owls are protected and rarely encountered birds of the owl family in Latvia, whose research and rehabilitation activities are highly significant to ensure they do not disappear from their natural environment.
One way to better understand these birds and their habits is by attaching satellite transmitters, which allow for tracking the eagle-owls' movements, hunting habits, and nesting sites. “Latvijas Finieris” is also actively involved, supporting the research and rehabilitation of these mysterious and magnificent birds.
