The shareholders' meeting of A/s Latvijas valsts meži (LVM) has approved the 2021 annual report and the consolidated annual report, which show that the company concluded 2021 with a net turnover of 405.3 million euros and a profit of 111.5 million euros after tax. At the company's shareholders' meeting, it was decided to pay 89.2 million euros to the state, including 71.4 million euros in dividends for the use of state capital and 17.8 million euros in corporate income tax.

In 2021, 6.83 million cubic metres of timber were sold to Latvian wood processing companies, including 6.64 million cubic metres of roundwood assortments and 0.19 million cubic metres of standing trees. 6 million tonnes of carbon were sequestered in the supplied timber products. (...)
