New procedure for beekeepers to receive state and European Union support

The government has approved the procedure prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture (ZM) for the granting, administration, and monitoring of state and European Union support for beekeeping, establishing the types of support available for beekeeping and the administration procedure in accordance with the Common Agricultural Policy Strategic Plan 2023–2027.

The new regulations define the eligibility criteria for support applicants, as well as the necessary documents, their submission deadlines to the Rural Support Service (LAD), which has been designated as the competent authority, and other conditions for granting support. The list of documents to be submitted to the LAD has been changed compared to the previous period, providing for new documents, such as the support applicant's declaration and the payment claim certification, among others.

As the deadlines for submitting information and reports to the European Commission have changed, the regulations establish new submission dates for information and reports, including the procedure for the exchange of information between the ZM, the LAD, and support applicants.
