On 19 June, at the AS “Latvijas valsts meži” (LVM) shareholder meeting, it was decided, based on the Ministry of Agriculture's priorities approved in the declaration of the Cabinet of Ministers led by Andris Kulbergs, to update LVM's shareholder letter of expectations and the related LVM medium-term operating strategy.

Once the shareholder letter of expectations and the company's strategy have been updated, LVM will review and refine its investment plan. In line with the revised investment plan, a decision will be made on allocating the profit earned by LVM in previous years but not yet distributed - 59.1 million euros - to investment in LVM's development, including the maintenance of commercial forest land, and to the state budget.
