AS “Latvijas valsts meži” (LVM) reports that its employees have set up the company employees' trade union “LVM Cilvēkam un Mežam”.

In order to advance employees' economic, social and professional interests, the LVM board has concluded an agreement on social dialogue with the company trade union “LVM Cilvēkam un Mežam”, and an agreement has also been reached to begin work on a draft collective agreement.

AS “Latvijas valsts meži” is also open to continued cooperation with the Latvian Forest Sector Trade Union on the interests of the members it represents and on sectoral matters.
