On 29 November 2022, a draft regulation was approved providing for an increase in state forest duty rates for forestry and hunting activities. The progress of the draft amendments took place in secrecy, and objections from non-governmental hunting organisations were not taken into account. State duty amounts for activities related to hunting have not been changed since 2004.
