80% of Great Britain's forests grow in Scotland, where significant investments in these sectors are clearly felt and visible. One of the largest recent investments is £100 million in a sawmill. Furthermore, Scotland is the only part of Great Britain to have set specific targets for the use of timber in construction, which in turn has promoted the development of the sector and attracted new people building their careers who are interested in the so-called green economy.
