Forecasting inspectors from the regional divisions of the State Plant Protection Service have evaluated the results of last season's observations of fruit crop (apple, pear, stone fruit, raspberry, strawberry and berry bush) diseases and pests and, taking these and the likely weather conditions during this year's growing season into account, have forecast the development of the most significant diseases and pests for the 2024 season.
