The Liepāja State City Municipality, Bauska Municipality, Cēsis Municipality, Valmiera Municipality and Jelgava Municipality were presented with the European Label of Governance Excellence (European Label of Good Governance) for their achievements in implementing good governance. The conference is one of the first events in the programme for Latvia’s Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
