The request not to let a moose lick your car might seem silly to some... but in Canada, they take it seriously.

Every year, Canadians receive this appeal, and it is not just directed at specific car owners, but a reminder for everyone to be aware. In the Canadian province of Alberta, this "nuisance" has been observed for several years and is becoming increasingly disruptive – moose tend to lick the salt spread on roads to prevent icing. The animals have discovered that it is much easier to get salt by licking the salt accumulated on car doors, bumpers, and wheels.
