"The Guardian" has discovered that counter-terrorism lists, distributed to medical staff and teachers during anti-extremism training, also include various non-violent organisations and groups such as Greenpeace, Peta and... neo-Nazis.

The guidelines, prepared by counter-terrorism authorities (agencies that track, analyse and monitor the activities of various activist groups or organisations with the aim of preventing the potential radicalisation of organisations or their individual members in good time), will be used throughout the UK as part of the training process to prevent potential radicalisation and to preempt any possibility of terrorist violence.

Although the police have stated that the documents examined by "The Guardian", which include groups such as Extinction Rebellion (XR) alongside far-right extremists and jihadists, are a "local error", the list of various groups that "pose or may pose a potential threat" includes Extinction Rebellion, Greenpeace (which is, by the way, supported by Judi Dench, Gillian Anderson, and Stephen Fry), and ocean conservationists Sea Shepherd, supported by Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan. There is also the organisation Stop the Badger Cull, supported by Queen guitarist Brian May.
