Slowly they came, soon they were gone
Those bountiful Christmas days:
Three short days, three short nights –
They go singing over the hill

A warm and heartfelt Christmas to you!

May the year-end holidays be a joy!

Peace, prosperity and brightness in the New Year!

If there are many stars in the sky on the first evening of Christmas,
there will be plenty of mushrooms next summer

To have plenty of money,
on Christmas Eve a black cat must be carried around the church
