PATA grupa, a Latvian forest management, timber industry, wood logistics and trading company, as well as one of the largest private owners of forest land with national capital, has established a company called PATA Finance, which, in partnership with Signet Bank, will specialise in providing financing to forest owners and farmers.

The aim of PATA Finance is to ensure the availability of financing for Latvian forest owners and farmers in a situation where local companies have quite limited opportunities to receive the necessary support from Latvian banks.
