More than 60% of those surveyed in Latvia believe that every individual can help solve environmental problems through their own actions. Conversely, 20% believe exactly the opposite. Around 9% of respondents are convinced that all the changes occurring now are influenced by nature itself, and therefore human involvement to improve anything is not necessary. A further 4% think that humanity can do nothing for the benefit of the surrounding environment because it is already too late.

In Lithuania, approximately half of the residents believe that everyone can help solve environmental problems through their own actions. About 30% believe that one person cannot influence anything through their actions. And similar to Latvia, 9% believe that everything happens by itself, while 4% think that it is already too late to do anything to improve the situation.

In Estonia, compared to the neighbouring countries, there is the highest number of residents who believe that one person cannot do anything for the benefit of nature (33%), as well as those who tend to think that all changes are natural (11%).
