100 environmental activists in Israel sharply criticise Greta Thunberg for her support for Gaza

A large group (around 100 people) of environmental activists from Israel has signed an open letter to Greta Thunberg in response to her expressions of solidarity with Palestine and Gaza on social media.

The signatories believe that Thunberg's tweets and posts on this matter are markedly and obviously one-sided, show a lack of information, are superficial, and are in complete contradiction to the ability to delve into the details of events and understand the essence of complex issues.

"Do you think Hamas represents human rights and freedom? Think again!"

"On 7 October, a brutal massacre took place in Israel. So far, we have counted 1,400 bodies of infants, children, women and men. All were brutally murdered, shot, burned alive, and raped before death; the terrorists attacked the victims in their homes, at a music festival and at random on the street," the letter states.

"Hundreds of people aged between 9 months and 90 years were abducted, including infants and people with serious illnesses (such as cancer, heart failure, Parkinson's disease) who do not have access to medication, as well as people with special needs, such as autism and dementia. Many are still missing," the signatories point out.

The letter mentions the grim situation of Shoshan Haran, who has dedicated her life to providing aid to African farmers and who is believed to be held hostage by terrorists in the Gaza Strip.
