“Today it seems impossible that a tractor could be bought from the harvest of 12 hectares, but back then, when rubles, repshi, and lats were changing, and the value of money was rising and falling, such luck could happen,” Dagnija Hincenberga reveals, sharing a carefree fragment of the history behind the founding of “Lazdiņi”. “I feel grateful that I own a piece of this land, which I inherited from my grandparents and which I must treat with responsibility,” the agronomist adds seriously.
