At a time when the daily challenges of industrial policy and financial matters are compounded by the complications brought by Omicron, which is affecting almost everyone, and on top of that, a painful rise in energy prices, it feels as though there are few hours in the day without worries. However, let us remain calm and realistic – there are things we can influence through our attitude, actions and decisions, in order to ensure daily operations and move forward.
With regard to the development of the European Union's Green Deal, these challenges, together with the January storms, hopefully provide a clearer view of reality, forcing a more precise assessment of what the true challenges are for us as a country and how, in this complex set of exercises comprising hundreds of tasks to meet climate goals, we can preserve our values, ensure prosperity for our people, and maintain the country's ability to repay its large debts in the future.
