By using cleaner energy sources instead of fossil fuels more and more, the potential to slow down climate change is increasing. By generating energy that produces fewer GHG emissions, we are diversifying energy production and reducing our dependence on underground resources.
Despite the benefits offered by green energy, Professor of Theoretical Physics Jacques Treiner explains that green or renewable energy sources will also never be 100% green. Why? Because emissions are created in the production and installation of these energy sources (wind turbines, solar panels, turbines).
