Leonīds Jākobsons, Executive Director of the Building Material Manufacturers Association, doubts whether there will even be any building materials that will stop being produced entirely over the next ten years.
That is, after all, why they were invented in the first place—to make the construction of new buildings faster, easier, and more cost-effective. However, Jākobsons admits that, in line with the European Green Deal, manufacturers will gradually and increasingly turn to building materials produced from natural raw materials.
