Natural science teachers who hold a valid Covid-19 vaccination or recovery certificate are invited to attend in-person courses on the new teaching resource.

LVM offers further education courses for educators interested in integrating the forest into the learning process. The one-day 12-hour (A) course 'Development of professional competence for educators in environmental education regarding sustainable forest management' is approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia and is developed in cooperation with the University of Latvia Interdisciplinary Educational Innovation Centre (LU SIIC), as well as the Further Education Centre of the Forest and Wood Products Research and Development Institute. The courses are free of charge, but to receive a 12-hour course certificate, teachers will be required to carry out an approbation of the material.
