In your opinion, what is currently most lacking for Europe to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 in the fight against climate change?

There is no single main element. If there were, with the talented, wonderful people we have, we would have solved the problem quite quickly. It requires significant changes in society – in the way we live and work. It takes time. It needs help. It requires guidance. It can be achieved through everyone's involvement. If we leave any group of society behind, the Green Deal will not be successful. The goal of the Green Deal is to save the planet and the people, which is why everyone must be involved in tackling climate change.

We must change the way we produce food, the way we travel, the way we look after our rivers, seas and oceans, and the way we manage our forests. There are many areas where we must reduce our impact. First, we must achieve a 55% reduction in emissions by 2030, and then the next step is climate neutrality by 2050. (...)
