A significant portion of the grain that Russia is stealing from Ukraine is being transported across the Mediterranean on Russian-flagged bulk carriers, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (HUR) reports. According to information provided by the HUR, the vessels are most likely heading to Syria, potentially to continue the transport of the contraband cargo to other Middle Eastern countries.

Illegally confiscated Ukrainian grain is also being sent to the annexed Crimean Peninsula. As the HUR reports, a convoy of Russian vehicles has headed from Enerhodar to Crimea, and grain is being prepared for transport in Polohy, in the Zaporizhzhia region. Furthermore, 1,500 tonnes of grain have been transported from the village of Mala Lepetykha in the Kherson region to Crimea. (...)
