The Sustainable Development Report (SDR) assesses each year the progress made towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals since 2015, when they were adopted by the 193 member states of the UN. The Sustainable Development Report for 2024, published on the eve of the UN summit, recommends a series of important reforms to the UN system in order to address the most serious problems of the 21st century. This year's edition also features a new index of country support for UN multilateral cooperation and examines long-term pathways towards achieving sustainable food and land systems.
