Are you involved in the processing, manufacturing or trading of coffee, cocoa, cattle (beef and leather), timber, palm oil, natural rubber (rubber products) or soy products? If so, you may need to familiarise yourself with the EU Deforestation Regulation 2023/1115 (EUDR). We invite you to attend a seminar in Latvia dedicated to EUDR issues. This event offers an excellent opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of EUDR and valuable insights into navigating complex cases.
EUDR stipulates that companies dealing in the aforementioned products and their derivatives, and those placing these products on the EU market, must carry out due diligence throughout the supply chain. The purpose of due diligence is to ensure that products are not produced in areas where irreversible forest clearing (deforestation), degradation or violations of environmental and social regulations have occurred.
